A Washington news station is reporting that Miss Washington USA 2015 Stormy Keffeler has resigned after she was found by police in a South Lake union apartment with USA Colarados midfielder Marco Pappa who was allegedly stabbed in the abdomen.
Marco Pappa, a former Sounders midfielder, was reportedly taken to the hospital after suffering a stab wound in an incident involving Stormy Keffeler, currently crowned as Miss Washington. Pappa reportedly underwent surgery following the incident.



Maureen Francisco, co-executive producer of Northwest productions, who works with Miss Washington USA, posted the following on her Facebook page on Thursday:
''We can confirm the resignation of stormy Keffeler as Miss Washington USA. Effective immediately, first runner-up Kesley Schmidt will assume the title of Miss Washington USA 2016 and represent the state at the Miss USA event later this year. We wish Stormy well in her future endeavors''

Keffeler’s issues are not confined to this case: The former Lingerie Football League player also is dealing with DUI charges stemming from an arrest in April which could cause her to lose her Miss Washington crown.
