According to Metro, the Gunners are prepared to pay a club record transfer fee to land Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

  The paper claims that Arsenal have made a bid of £42m for the striker, and are prepared to go even higher to pay a fee that would exceed the £42.5m it took to sign Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid in 2013.
